Document archive

For permanent storage documents are moved to the archive in the elDoc system where they can be accessed or referenced as required. Archive is represented by two folders in the elDoc system: Repository and Archive. Both folders provide the same functionality, the only difference between those two folders is in meaning:

  • Repository folder is intended to store valid documents;
  • Archive folder is intended to store  out-of-date documents.

Documents can be moved between these two folders by document author or documents administrator only in case Repository process phase was enabled on the document’s process.

Archive process phase is always enabled and can not be disabled.
