Document access control

Access control settings are designed to restrict users from having access to sensitive data / information in the elDoc system. 

Default document access rights

By default, each user has access to the documents in case at least one of the criteria is met:

  • Document was created by the user;
  • User is set as the participant in the document workflow;
  • Document processing was delegated to the user;
  • User or any of user's group were granted with access to the document;
  • Setting "Document is accessible to all" is enabled;
  • User has any of document administrator roles.

Changing document access rights

In order to view and change document access rights press the Edit access rights button.

In the dialog window you can review existing access settings to the document.

Note

There is no possibility to change default access rights settings in case the user is added in the document workflow as a participant.
